Howdy, Bead Friends!

Happy New Year!

Resolutions:

Completion - finish things! All the way! Baby steps are really good, but don't stop after the first 2 or 3 steps.

Connection - I'm truly blessed to have friends and family all over. Keep in touch!

Creation - you all know this one... Make stuff!!

I've been getting lots done lately. For some reason, I feel scared. I'm not sure exactly why. Maybe I made a mistake! Maybe people will realize I'm not perfect! Oh No!!! Then no-one will love me! <wry grin> Someone's going to come along and take everything away from me as punishment for making a mistake, for daring to be imperfect. I have perfection issues - can you tell? Mostly it makes me put things off. So I also have procrastination issues. Guess I have some work to do! Thanks for letting me air my feelings.

Wishing you peace, contentment, and many beautiful beads in the coming year!

Happy Beading!

Here's the lighter cover I made for my brother for Christmas.
He collects lighthouses. He keeps it on the mantel to light a cozy fire in the fireplace.

There's something primal and comforting about fire, and coming in from the snow to a warm, secure home.

I made these beaded buttons for my new winter coat. It's a beautiful vintage coat that I got at the thrift store, but the buttons were ugly - so I netted some covers for them. Each one is slightly different.

Finished this lighter case for my Daughter today. She's been asking me to make these lighter covers for a few years now. Now I have to send it to her - I hope she doesn't see it here before she gets it in the mail - it would spoil the surprise!

The "flower" is her birthstone - Peridot. The designs are a combination of TinyPouch patterns.
