Howdy, Bead Friends!
Happy first day of Winter! I'm thoroughly enjoying the snow and cold weather. Of course, there's only a couple of inches of snow, and it hasn't been below zero, yet.
I grew up in Ohio, but I spent the last 25 years in southern California, and I'd forgotten just how great actual weather can be! Snowflakes are simply beautiful, and there's something so comforting about being in a warm house when it's cold and snowing and the wind is whistling around the eaves. Most days we have a fire in the fireplace, too.
I still don't know why, exactly, but I feel really good lately. I can remember what it feels like to be depressed, and want to curl up and die, but I don't feel that way now. I'm working on just accepting it. <grin> I want to know why! <whine> But mostly, I'm grateful that I'm enjoying life a lot more than I was.
I have actually been beading, and using my creativity in other ways. Working on my website, and webstore, for one. Teaching classes, Working on new patterns, Making snowflakes and other Christmas gifts....
I like starting new projects, but I have "completion issues". It's hard for me to actually finish anything. So I think that'll have to be one of my New Year's resolutions!
Wishing you and yours lots of love and contentment this holiday season and in the coming year!
Happy Beading!

And so is
this little bead pot. They both use the same peyote stitched technique,
one is closed at the top to make a bead, and one is left open for a
little pot.

Snowflakes!
Oooh! Ahhh! These are made with 2 colors of 11¼ seeds - white lined
crystal and crystal AB. I've made lots of them!
